My research subjects will be students at IUP. I will do an online survey which i will post on the class website and i will also send the survey to my facebook friends. I am hoping about 200 or more students will take my survey, and if i can get more than that it would be only better. I think that will give me a big enough sample size to generalize about the IUP campus. Marlen suggested in my meeting with him that i should use the website “surveymonkey.com” and this should protect my research subjects and make it very easy and quick for them to take it. I do not think that this would endanger the participants at all. Marlen said that he has used this website many times before so i feel very confident that it will be safe and effective for everyone.

I think your idea of doing and online survey is probably your best bet. I think if you went around campus and asked people walking by that they wouldn’t give you a second glance because most people don’t want to be bothered when going somewhere. The website seems like a great idea, especially since you’ve talked to someone with experience with the site! Sounds like you’re doing well with finding sample subjects

I think that is a really good start! The only question I have for you is if you plan to do any other sort of research for the research paper. I think the more open you are with sources, the better!

I have been doing some research and i will be doing a lot more. I have found a lot of information supporting my claims which is very good.
